Dr. Cohen's experience and philosophy

Dr. Cohen’s approach to podiatric medicine integrates both traditional (allopathic) and natural (homeopathic) medical techniques.  She specializes in treating patients with all types of foot and ankle conditions including tendonitis, arthritis, plantar fascitis, and many other conditions. She has experience utilizing a series of FDA approved natural herbal products and remedies that have been highly successful in treating many common foot, ankle, and heel conditions.  These natural medications relieve pain and inflammation like traditional treatments but have very minimal side-effects.

Dr. Cohen received her undergraduate degree from the prestigious Brandeis University in

Waltham, Massachusetts. She received a doctorate in podiatric medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, earning academic honors and scholarships including the Durlacher honor award, Merit scholar award, and the Dr. Philip R. Brachman/Alumni Association Scholarship. She continued her education by completing a three year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. After gaining more experience by working for a podiatric practice, Dr. Cohen opened her own practice in 2009.
